Polly

My dog Polly simply loves Dom @ Walkies! We are so happy we can always count on Dom, for daily walks, and also when we go away, Polly is happy to board with Dom. She comes back tail wagging and happy! The few times I was worried about Polly’s health, Dom was there with knowledgeable advice, putting me at ease if there was no problem or advising me to see the Vet if needed. So very helpful! I highly recommend his services to any dog owner.

Angus

Dominic has been taking my dog Angus out for walks for several years now, and I have to give him credit for transforming Angus from a boisterous, over excitable puppy into a calm and well behaved individual. Angus loves going out on pack walks with Dominic. Mixing with different groups of dogs on a regular basis has been invaluable in teaching Angus how to socialise with dogs of all shapes, sizes, and temperaments.
Dominic and Magda also board dogs, and Angus has stayed with them many times. He loves these sleepovers and is so keen to stay that he usually runs into their house without a backward glance at me. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Walkies Edinburgh, to anyone who cares for and wants the very best for their dog.

Skye

We’ve been entrusting our Labrador, Skye, to Dominic and Magda since 2019, and we simply couldn’t ask for better hosts!
Dominic and Magda treat him like one of their own, often going the extra mile by offering to pick him up or drop him off when it fits with Dom’s schedule.

Bowie

I am pretty sure the highlight of Bowie's day is when Dominic comes to the door - he shoots off super happy and comes back just as happy and a wee bit tired. We are really lucky to have found Dominic, he is super flexible and always looks out for Bowie. Bowie especially enjoys his sleepovers when we go away. We are very happy to recommend Dominic

Flint

Magda and Dominic (Dom) have been incredibly generous hosts to our beloved lurcher for many years now. They are responsible, caring, and go above and beyond for the dogs they board. Our lurcher is always very happy to see them (and their own dog, dachshund Bruce), and he feels very comfortable at their home, which means they’re doing something very right! They go out of their way to make dogs feel at home, following routines they’re used to. They also regularly send videos and photos updates when we’re gone to show how he’s getting on, which we love. We trust them with taking care of our most precious family member, and we thank them for doing so for so many years!

Leo

We have been using Walkies Edinburgh for 3 years now after being recommended to us by a family member whose dog was looked after by Walkies. My Dog is called Leo and is a chocolate labrador who absolutely adores Dominic who takes the walk! The walking service provided is well worth it for Leo and is always worn out upon his return from his walks! Dominic is very attentive with the dogs always provides updates with any time off he plans to take so and does his best to provide alternative arrangements. Dominic will also mention if anything is off with Leo during the walks just so we can keep an eye on things also. The boarding service we have used a few times and it’s perfect for our needs when these occasions arise.

Buster & Benji

Buster and Benji have boarded with Dominic and Magda on several occasions for various periods of time, ranging from an overnight to a fortnight. I honestly couldn’t recommend a better place or people to look after your pets as they receive undivided attention and excellent care. Both dogs were well looked after, exercised and all their needs taken care of. The dogs had a pre visit before their stay to ensure they were happy in their surroundings. On every occasion, Buster and Benji have returned from their stay happy, healthy and content. I would have no hesitation in recommending Dominic and Magda to anyone looking for a dog walking or boarding service.

Cooper

We needed emergency cover for Cooper and Dominic & Magda were able to accommodate at short notice. Cooper thoroughly enjoyed a home from home experience, was well looked after and cared for just as well as if he were at home. I wouldn't think twice or look elsewhere if I needed cover again. Ernie

We’ve been using Edinburgh-Walkies for Ernie since 2014. We work shifts and often from home and they are so accommodating to changing days and needs. Ernie adores Dom and ‘a Dom day’ - going on adventures with the pack - ensures a very happy, well exercised, and socialised Labrador snoring on the couch. Dogs need time to play, learn from and interact with other dogs. Using a dog walker enriches their lives. They make doggy friends and enjoy much needed time with their pals in nature. Dom takes great care to ensure their individual needs and characters are met with lots of fun in quiet, safe and varied locations. He goes above and beyond to meet the needs of both dogs and owners. Ernie is our ‘baby’ and we wouldn’t trust his care to anyone else. Edinburgh-walkies was the first dog walking service in Edinburgh and is a family business with an excellent reputation built on years of expertise and care. Our experience is that they love dogs (and people!) and we highly recommend their walking and home boarding services.
